Heaven

Raindrops are rolling down the window pane
I look out through the sheets of rain
The smell of wet earth envelops me
And I sigh

Green leaves of fir shake and quiver
with incessant raindrops dancing all over
I am mesmerized by this musical
And my heart joins in

I stand enchanted
Heart beating to the rhythm of the rain
All senses open up to the mystical
And soak up the wonder that is aroud

I sigh
This is heaven
A moment where I am alive
And so is the world with a heartbeat matching mine
