Unbearable lightness of being

The golden lights bathed me
In the warm heady shower of bliss
Oh yes.. I was alive and kicking
Was the only thought that crossed my mind

Of course it was not perfect
But who wants perfect at all
The pale blue sky could always be bluer
Sunshine could always be warmer

The houses were lined in a curvy line
Some with views beautiful
Some not so but who cares
When the crisp air surrounds you with feelings abound

I felt light as a leaf
Floating around with the gushes of air
Tentatively settling on the branch bent slight
And unbearably light became my being
